The Financial Services division is currently recruiting a proactive and meticulous Junior Staff Accountant to become an integral part of our finance team. Responsibilities
Execute the recording and management of daily monetary transactions, covering accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger postings.
Aid in the compilation of financial statements and reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual review cycles.
Conduct account reconciliations to verify that internal ledger figures align with external bank statements.
Provide assistance to senior accounting staff during critical closing periods at the conclusion of months and fiscal years.
Ensure financial records are current, organized, and compliant with both internal protocols and external regulatory mandates.
Detect and rectify inconsistencies within financial data, escalating complex matters to leadership as needed.
Partner with various departments to deliver precise financial information necessary for budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
Requirements
Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
One to three years of relevant professional experience in accounting or a comparable position within the financial services industry.
Demonstrated capability in managing general ledgers and applying core accounting principles.
Solid comprehension of financial reporting standards and compliance frameworks.
