Junior System Administrator (MUST have DoD TS/SCI)

Job Summary:
The Junior System Administrator with a DoD TS/SCI clearance will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization. This role will involve resolving technical issues and ensuring security protocols are followed to protect sensitive information.

Qualifications:
- Must have an active DoD TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Familiarity with networking, virtualization technologies, and cybersecurity best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities:
- Assist in installing and configuring software, hardware, and networks
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnose and solve hardware or software faults
- Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions
- Ensure data backup and disaster recovery procedures are in place
- Collaborate with senior system administrators to improve system performance and reliability
- Document processes and procedures for future reference

Preferred Skills:
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
- Experience working in a classified environment
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting or other automation tools
