Job Summary 

Flexcar is seeking a Junior Systems Administrator to support a secure, reliable, and modern IT environment. This role focuses on hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, endpoint management, and supporting internal IT operations. 

What You'll Do 

• Support and administer Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Entra ID environments 

• Assist IT support team with Intune configuration, troubleshooting, and device management 

• Help manage patching processes across endpoints and infrastructure 

• Manage and resolve support tickets, including escalated technical issues 

• Monitor systems and respond to alerts in a NOC-style environment 

• Review security alerts and assist with incident response 

• Assist with firewall, VPN, and network security configurations 

• Troubleshoot cloud, endpoint, and network issues 

• Support SaaS applications and integrations 

• Maintain documentation for procedures and changes 

• Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure uptime and stability 

What You Will Have 

• Associate or bachelor's degree in progress/completed or equivalent experience 

• Intermediate experience with Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Entra ID 

• Familiarity with Intune or other MDM platforms 

• Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP) 

• Knowledge of root cause analysis methodologies (RCA) 

• Exposure to troubleshooting systems or user issues 

• Strong communication and willingness to learn 

• Willingness to travel up to 25% to Flexcar locations as needed to support IT operations, projects, and deployments 

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have) 

• Understanding of firewalls and network security tools 

• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure 

• Basic Linux knowledge (e.g., Debian, Ubuntu) 

• Experience or knowledge with scripting (e.g., Bash/Shell, Windows Batch, etc.) 

• Exposure to patch management tools (Automox or similar) 

• FortiGate a plus 

• macOS experience 

• Windows OS experience 

• SaaS administration exposure 

• Entry-level certifications (A+, Network+) 

• Virtualization experience (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox) 

• PowerShell or automation exposure 

• Exposure to EDR, MDR, or SIEM tools
