The Junior Systems Analyst will support the analysis, design, enhancement, and maintenance of business applications and computer systems. This role works closely with business users, stakeholders, and technical teams to gather requirements, analyze operational processes, identify system improvement opportunities, and assist in implementing technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will have foundational experience in systems analysis, business process evaluation, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation. This position is well-suited for candidates seeking to grow their career in business systems analysis and information technology within a structured enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze user requirements, business processes, and operational procedures.

• Gather and document business and system requirements from stakeholders.

• Evaluate existing computer systems and recommend process improvements.

• Assist in identifying opportunities to automate business processes.

• Develop detailed documentation describing user needs, system functionality, and program requirements.

• Analyze system capabilities, technical specifications, and operational constraints.

• Support system enhancement and modification initiatives.

• Assist in preparing functional and technical documentation.

• Participate in software testing, validation, and quality assurance activities.

• Troubleshoot application and system-related issues.

• Support system implementation and deployment activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience analyzing user requirements, procedures, and business problems to improve existing computer systems or automate processing.

• Minimum 2 years of experience documenting user needs, program functions, and system modification requirements.

• Minimum 2 years of experience evaluating system capabilities, technical specifications, and scheduling constraints.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in troubleshooting, testing, installing, implementing, and supporting computer systems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with technical and business teams.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a structured environment.

• Must currently reside within the Austin metropolitan area.

• Hybrid work schedule.
