General OverviewAPEX TK is looking for an amazingly talented Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Long Range Targets program office. Your work will cover multiple programs developing the next generation of reentry vehicles, rocket motors, and counter measures in support of creating realistic test environments for the nation's missile defense systems.What You'll Be DoingProviding technical and engineering analysis for MDA flight requirements products to ensure accuracy, decomposition, and integration are completeParticipate in system requirements reviews and creating and/or updating requirement specifications and technical documentationSupporting requirements development and functional allocation to hardware, software, operator and other segments and components of the systemProviding review and analysis of engineering designs, requirements, and program statusCoordinating multi-domain reviews of design artifacts submitted in support of critical program reviewsWhat Required Skills You'll BringActive Secret Clearance and ability to maintain oneBachelor's Degree in STEM and 3+ years of experienceAbility to apply Engineering rigor to solve engineering/scientific problemsExperience writing, presenting, and coordinating product and engineering plans, policies, and proceduresUnderstanding system interface requirements and requirements managementAbility to clearly communicate complex ideas and produce and present clear, concise, well‑organized, and audience‑relevant presentations and documentsReviewing system engineering documentation to ensure specifications meet system needs and are accurateWorks independently, as a team member, or leading teams/tasksExperience working in a configuration‑controlled environment and ensuring proper levels of handling are applied to itemsWhat Desired Skills You'll BringMDA experience and familiarity with the Missile Defense SystemFamiliarity with MDA flight test targets and threatsExperience with Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) tools#J-18808-Ljbffr
