A junior to mid-level Employment Associate opportunity supporting employers on a broad range of workplace counseling, compliance, and litigation matters. The role offers substantial exposure to client advisory work, court appearances, investigations, and employment-related disputes.

Description

  • Provide legal counsel on employment law matters, including compliance and risk management.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate employment-related agreements and documents.
  • Advise clients on workplace policies and procedures.
  • Represent clients in employment disputes and litigation.
  • Stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with teams to provide comprehensive legal services.
  • Conduct research to support legal positions and strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring clarity and understanding.

Profile

A successful candidate should have:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admittance to the bar in California.
  • Experience with employment law matters, including litigation and compliance.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Job Offer

  • Estimated base salary of $180,000-$205,000, depending on experience.
  • Hybrid working arrangement.
  • Three days per week in the office.
  • Exposure to both counseling and litigation work.
  • Direct client interaction and advisory responsibilities.
