Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a government location, where you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and support a professional, orderly environment. This is a driving post. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Monitor access control points by checking identification, authorizations, and/or visitor credentials before allowing entry to restricted areas.
• Maintain visitor and contractor logs, issue access instructions, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or access concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and documenting observations as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, entry points, and perimeter areas to help support access control measures and report conditions needing attention.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A current DPSS/DHS tuberculosis test and MMR vaccinations are required in accordance with COLA requirements.
• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
