Compensation: Contract determined by years of coaching experience.

Description:

The McFarland School District is seeking applicants for a JV2 Boys Basketball Coach for the 2026-2027 season. The candidate must have the ability to motivate, mentor, and instill sportsmanship qualities, while maximizing the student athletes' abilities at all levels. Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Qualifications:

  • Complete knowledge of basketball skills, experience preferred.
  • Use of different coaching methods and motivational strategies for athletes
  • Collaborate with basketball coaches, other sport coaches, and school employees
  • Ability to relate to students, parents, and community members
  • Able to plan and run daily practices.
  • Licensed Teacher or CNLT through WIAA
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
