JV2 Head Coach - Boys Basketball

Overview:

The JV2 Head Boys Basketball Coach is responsible for coaching and supervising the JV2 boys basketball team while supporting the overall high school basketball program. The coach focuses on player development, fundamentals, teamwork, sportsmanship, academic success, and preparation for higher levels of competition.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct practices focused on basketball fundamentals and player development.

• Supervise student-athletes during practices, games, travel, and team activities.

• Teach team concepts, rules, safety, and expectations for participation.

• Promote sportsmanship, discipline, respect, and positive conduct.

• Communicate appropriately with athletes, parents, coaching staff, and administration.

• Monitor academic eligibility and encourage student success.

• Work cooperatively with the Varsity Head Coach and program staff.

• Maintain and care for equipment, uniforms, and facilities.

• Follow all Menominee Indian School District, conference, and WIAA rules.

• Perform other duties assigned by the Athletic Director or Varsity Head Coach.
