Smart Thinkers LLC is looking for a dedicated and experienced K–12 & SAT Tutor to join our growing team!
We are seeking an enthusiastic educator who enjoys working one-on-one with students, can adapt instruction to individual learning needs, and is comfortable tutoring across multiple grade levels.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience
- Comfortable tutoring students in K–12
- Able to provide SAT preparation
- Strong knowledge of academic content, particularly Math and/or ELA
- Patient, dependable, and encouraging
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable providing individualized instruction
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Comfortable teaching academic concepts in Spanish when needed
- Professional and reliable
Tutoring Format
- In-person tutoring is preferred
- Virtual tutoring through Zoom is also available
- Sessions are primarily one-on-one
- In-person sessions are located in the Houston/Southeast Houston area
Position
Part-Time K–12 & SAT Tutor
Scheduling will vary based on student availability.
Evening and weekend availability is a plus.
Compensation: Based on experience, qualifications, and subject area.
