K-5 Science - Certified (One Year Only)

The Kirkwood School District is hiring a K-5 Science Teacher for the 26/27 school year to support Keysor Elementary School.

The K-5 Teacher will lead the IDEA Lab (Imagination, Discovery, Exploration, and Adventure). In this role, you will manage a dedicated, hands-on experiential learning space, transforming students from Kindergarten through 5th grade into young scientists, engineers, and mathematicians. During immersive four-week units each semester, you will facilitate high-energy, inquiry-based lessons covering coding, robotics, structures, environmental science, and outer space. If you are passionate about fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for STEM in a collaborative elementary setting, we want you on our team!

This is a full-time certified teaching position, with benefits, including:

Salary is based on the Certified Salary Schedule, dependent on relevant education & experience.
