Cathedral School is a WRISA-accredited Catholic school serving students in Preschool through Grade 8 in Superior, Wisconsin. We are seeking a qualified and faith-filled educator to join our faculty as a part-time K-8 Art Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
The ideal candidate is passionate about fostering creativity, artistic expression, and student growth while integrating Catholic values into the educational experience. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of instructional best practices, provide engaging, standards-based art instruction, and differentiate learning to meet the diverse needs of students.
Responsibilities include:
Plan and deliver engaging visual arts instruction aligned with diocesan curriculum standards.
Design age-appropriate lessons that develop students'' artistic skills, creativity, and appreciation for the visual arts using a variety of media and techniques.
Assess student learning and artistic growth, providing meaningful feedback to support continued development.
Create a safe, organized, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and respect.
Display and celebrate student artwork to foster confidence and appreciation for artistic achievement within the school community.
Uphold the dignity of every student in accordance with Catholic teachings.
Support and model Catholic values through daily interactions with students, families, and colleagues.
Collaborate with faculty and administration to support the mission and goals of the school community.
