K-8 Physical Education Teacher

Cathedral School is a WRISA-accredited Catholic school serving students in Preschool through Grade 8 in Superior, Wisconsin. We are seeking a qualified and faith-filled educator to join our faculty as a part-time K-8 Physical Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.

The ideal candidate is passionate about promoting lifelong health and wellness, committed to fostering student growth, and dedicated to integrating Catholic values into the educational experience. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of instructional best practices and effectively differentiate learning to meet the diverse needs of students.

Responsibilities include:

• Plan and deliver engaging physical education instruction aligned with diocesan curriculum standards.

• Design age-appropriate activities that promote physical fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyles.

• Assess student learning and physical skill development, providing meaningful feedback to support student growth.

• Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment that encourages participation and respect.

• Uphold the dignity of every student in accordance with Catholic teachings.

• Support and model Catholic values through daily interactions with students, families, and colleagues.

• Collaborate with faculty and administration to support the mission and goals of the school community.
