K12 Operator - Formula 1 Las Vegas

About the role:
SEM is hiring a K12 Operator to support load-in, event, and strike operations for the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix. This role operates lift equipment (forklift/scissor lift) to move furniture and large items from ground level to upper levels during setup and teardown.

Priority consideration: Candidates who hold a valid passport and are available to also travel to Mexico City, Mexico for the Formula 1 Mexico City Grand Prix load-in crew (approx. October 21-November 3) will be given priority. SEM covers flight and lodging for this assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a forklift and/or scissor lift to transport furniture, equipment, and large items during load-in and strike
• Follow all safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines for lift equipment
• Work efficiently within tight event timelines alongside the crew lead and load-in team
• Assist with general load-in/strike labor as needed
• Communicate clearly with crew leads and other operators to keep the site safe and on schedule

Requirements:

• Current, valid forklift and/or aerial lift operator certification (required)
• Prior experience operating lift equipment in an event, warehouse, or construction setting
• Ability to work long shifts, including nights and weekends, during load-in and strike windows
• Reliable transportation to the venue
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Valid passport strongly preferred (required for Mexico City priority placement)
