A.T. Still University's Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (ATSU-KCOM) is seeking a part-time, non-exempt Research Assistant on the Kirksville, Missouri campus. The Research Assistant provides comprehensive technical and operational support within the research laboratory, executing both routine and advanced experimental procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities
Performs critical molecular biology assays.
Manages specialized cellular models, and assists with surgical procedures in alignment with project goals.
Responsible for accurate data collection, preliminary analysis, and maintaining rigorous quality and safety standards across various ongoing research initiatives.
Requirements
Education & Experience
High School Diploma required plus one year of college.
College-level knowledge of biochemistry, biology or chemistry.
Computer skills.
Manual dexterity, good hand-to-eye coordination.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to communicate effectively.
The applicant must be highly motivated.
