We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Kennel Attendants to work both part-time and full-time. The ideal candidates will have a passion for animal care and be committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for animals. As a Kennel Attendant, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our facility, ensuring the well-being of the animals in our care.

Retirement
The County is a member of the CalPERS retirement system and also provides the opportunity for voluntary contributions to a 457 deferred compensation account through Nationwide by way of pre-tax and Roth payroll deductions.

The Kennel Attendant will be responsible for a variety of work including the feeding, watering and care of animals, cleaning and maintaining cleanliness of kennels and animal cages in accordance with occupational, safety, and health standards. They will also handle adoption of animals and releases of impounded animals to owners; quarantining animals as needed.
