About the Role:
Hope's Boarding Camp & Doggie Daycare in Apache Junction, AZ is looking for a passionate and energetic Kennel Tech/Receptionist to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity for an animal lover who thrives in a fast-paced, fun environment and enjoys providing top-notch care for furry guests. Responsibilities:

• Greet clients and their pets with a warm, welcoming attitude at the front desk
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage boarding and daycare reservations
• Monitor and supervise dogs during daycare play groups and boarding stays
• Feed, water, and administer medications to boarded animals per owner instructions
• Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, and common spaces to maintain a safe environment
• Observe animal behavior and report any health or behavioral concerns to management
• Process payments and maintain accurate client and pet records

Requirements:

• Genuine love and passion for animals, especially dogs
• Prior experience in a kennel, veterinary, or animal care setting preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely
• Comfortable with physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Basic computer skills for scheduling and client management
