Key Account Manager (Industrial Sales)

Description

Our client is looking for a motivated Key Account Manager – Industrial Sales to grow commercial and industrial sales. This is a remote, territory-based role focused on developing new business while managing key customer relationships.

You'll work with industrial end-users, OEMs, manufacturers, and service companies, representing a broad portfolio of industrial products and reliability solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Prospect and develop new business within industrial and OEM accounts.

  • Build strong relationships with end-users, manufacturers, distributors, and key decision-makers.

  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying new sales opportunities.

  • Develop territory and account plans to support business growth.

  • Promote the company's full portfolio of industrial products and reliability solutions.

  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and competitive conversions.

  • Collaborate with internal product specialists and business leaders to deliver customer solutions.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline activity.

  • Provide market insights and customer feedback to support business strategy.

  • Travel throughout your territory for customer meetings, site visits, and industry events.

What You Must Have

  • 3+ years of industrial, technical, or product-based sales experience.

  • Proven success in both new business development and account management.

  • Experience selling to industrial end-users, OEMs, manufacturers, MRO, maintenance, engineering, or operations teams.

  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to manage a sales territory, build pipeline, and close new business.

  • Technical aptitude with the ability to learn industrial products and equipment.

  • Experience using CRM systems for pipeline management and forecasting.

  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Experience

  • Existing relationships within industrial markets.

  • Experience with electric motors, rotating equipment, motor repair, industrial reliability, power transmission, electrical services, or industrial service companies.
