The Key Account Manager - OES (Automotive) serves as the primary daily contact responsible for all commercial aspects associated with the account support actions of the assigned customers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the daily management of all accounts within the sales organization, while aggressively pursuing new growth opportunities - both within existing customers, as well as new customers
- Provide effective management of sales efforts in support of Business Plan Targets in sales, profitability, and AR performance
- Provide regular updates to the Sales Director concerning both current and new potential customer account activities.
- Must maintain detailed knowledge of both current and targeted profitability by product group and customer.
- Will be responsible for development and successful implementation of innovative new business acquisition strategies within current customer base as well as targeted new customers.
- The Key Account Manager will be actively involved in global coordination of key customers.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- BS in Engineering, or other technical/ business-related field.
Experience
- 5 + years’ experience in Automotive OES Sales
- Experience managing GM, Stellantis, and other Automotive OEM customer
