Responsibilities The Key Account Manager (KAM) for Retail Sales is responsible for executing a selling strategy in assigned retail accounts. Successful candidates will manage key customer relationships including negotiating customer agreements that deliver against internal operating plans and customer expectations. Maximize volume and revenue in key assigned accounts by using fact-based selling methods. Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance Develop annual promotion plan while adhering to guidelines and ensure flawless execution through consistent customer engagement Make regular headquarter buyer calls, identify customer needs/priorities and creating fact-based selling presentations for assigned retail account Analyze customer information and business trends using IRI and Nielsen to identify and expand business opportunities Work closely with the Selling Operations team to improve overall customer satisfaction Cultivate strong customer relationships Ensure customers are complying with contract requirements Actively participate in customer payment processing including financial contracts, performance and collection Ability to travel 10% of the time Must be willing and able to lift 40 lbs. periodically Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $73,400 - $122,850. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process. Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually. Paid time off in accordance with policy is subject to eligibility and includes vacation, holiday, sick, bereavement and parental leave. Vacation: for eligible full-time employees, a minimum of 15 paid vacation days. Holidays: for eligible full-time employees, the company provides 10 paid holidays annually. Sick Leave: for eligible full- time employees, 10 days (80 hours) of paid sick leave benefits are available for absences related to non-job-related injury. Sick leave benefit will be accrued during your first year at 1 day for each month worked in that calendar year. Bereavement Leave: In the event of a death of an immediate family member, full-time and part-time regular employees are eligible to receive up to three (3) consecutive working days with pay. Parental Leave: for eligible employees, the company offers paid parental leave for up to 6 weeks to allow for a time of bonding with their newborn or newly adopted child.
