Job Summary:We’re looking for a reliable, customer-focused Key Holder Sales Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, community-driven retail environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service while supporting daily store operations.
As a Key Holder, you’ll play a leadership role on the sales floor—opening and closing the store, assisting customers, and helping maintain a smooth and efficient operation.
Responsibilities:
- Open and close the store independently, following all proceduresProvide friendly, knowledgeable customer service and product guidanceAssist customers with purchases, product selection, and problem-solvingOperate POS system and handle cash transactions accuratelyMaintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising standardsStock shelves and assist with inventory managementSupport the team in daily operations, including seasonal displays and promotionsHelp oversee store activity in the absence of management
Qualifications:
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Comfortable handling responsibility, including opening/closing duties
- Basic knowledge of hardware, lawn & garden, or home improvement products is a plus
