Laborer
Job Purpose
The Laborer is responsible for supporting construction projects efficiently and consistently while working with a team to achieve the common goal of safe, timely, and high-quality project completion.
Client goal: Complete the job on time, with quality work, and under budget
KHI goals: Complete the job in a safe manner
Complete the job with no / minimal re-work

Construction Responsibilities
- Assist with general construction labor on job sites.
- Load, unload, move, and organize tools, materials, and equipment.
- Prepare work areas and keep job sites clean and safe.
- Assist with demolition, framing, mounting, and material installation.
- Support skilled trades and project teams with daily tasks.
- Use hand tools and power tools as needed to complete assigned work.
- Help with measuring, cutting, drilling, and basic assembly.
- Follow plans, instructions, and project scope to complete work to specifications.
- Perform basic general labor duties as assigned.
Knowledge and abilities
- Basic knowledge of construction methods, tools, and job site safety.
- Ability to read plans and follow the scope of work.
- Ability to recognize changes in the scope of work and communicate them appropriately.
- Need to be able to use a level, wrench, reciprocating saw, portable hand saw, hammer drill, and other common construction tools.
- Construction Laborers work a standard work week but may be required to work evenings and weekends to meet project milestones.
- Ability to work in crouched, kneeling, or confined positions.
- Preferred certifications such as OSHA 10.
- Ability to lift 70 pounds.

Compensation
- $18 – $23 per hour, starting, based on experience.
