WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Kia EV Certified Technician, you will diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles while following OEM standards and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnose and repair Kia electric vehicles according to manufacturer specifications
  

• Perform advanced diagnostics on EV and high-voltage systems
  

• Diagnose battery, electrical, charging, and drivability concerns
  

• Utilize Kia factory diagnostic tools and OEM repair procedures
  

• Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs accurately and efficiently
  

• Perform multi-point inspections and identify recommended maintenance or repairs
  

• Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation
  

• Communicate repair findings and timelines with Service Advisors
  

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  

• Follow all Kia and dealership safety procedures
  

QUALIFICATIONS

KIA EV CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED

We're looking for technicians who have the training and experience to confidently work on Kia's electric vehicle systems.

Required:

• Kia EV Certification
  

• Previous automotive dealership technician experience
  

• Strong electrical and diagnostic troubleshooting skills
  

• Experience working with EV systems and high-voltage components
  

• Knowledge of EV battery and charging systems
  

• Ability to diagnose complex electrical and drivability concerns
  

• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume dealership environment
  

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  

• Team-oriented mindset
  

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  

Preferred:

• Previous Kia dealership experience
  

• Kia Master Technician experience
  

• ASE Certifications
  

• Advanced EV or high-voltage certifications
