Skills

1. Proven experience in coaching one or more striking martial art. With a preference for Kickboxing and MMA
2. Strong communication skills and personality that can fill a room.
3. Knowledge of AED operation and emergency response procedures to ensure participant safety
4. Experience working with children
5. Open and able to adjust teaching style to fit Budo’s culture and philosophy on instruction.
6. Ability to manage behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning environment

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Kickboxing Instructor to inspire and guide beginner level students through our foundational skills in Boxing & Kickboxing. As well as the basics of Tony Blauer's SPEAR System. An instructor at Budo FRMA is a person who has passion for changing lives through day to day martial arts instruction. An outgoing and servant leader personality is a must! The ideal candidate will work with the owners to develop and provide a “best in class” experience for Budo students and families.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist and Lead structured beginners classes for several different age groups: 4 & 5 years old, 6 - 8 years old and 9-12 years old.
2. Be a leader by demonstrating proper techniques for punches, kicks, footwork, and combinations to maximize effectiveness and true application.
3. Inspire students’ form by providing constructive feedback to improve performance, build competence and manage fear.
4. Utilize previous experience in Kickboxing and other striking martial arts to enrich Budo's student experience.
5. Learn and utilize Budo's classroom management strategies to create a unified culture across all classes.
6. Maintain a clean, organized training environment while adhering to Budo standards
