EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Two years supervisory experience
Experience working with children
Strong academic background
High School Diplomas and college/university degrees must be obtained from an accredited program or university approved by the United States Department of Education and the Texas Education Agency.

OTHER INFORMATION:
Work schedule is Monday - Friday 1:30pm - 6:30pm each day school is in session, plus additional required professional development hours outside the work schedule
PRIMARY PURPOSE SUMMARY:
Responsible for planning and implementing the after school program on site to include supervising a small staff of 4-12. Oversee scheduling, customize enrichment activities, handle discipline problem resolutions and act as a liaison between the Adult & Community Education administration, school staff, KIN staff and parents.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans and customizes daily age-appropriate enrichment and academic activities.
Supervises staff ensuring that all aspects of the program are implemented in accordance with North East Independent School District (NEISD) policies and procedures.
Provides and/or coordinates appropriate training for staff and clearly communicates expectations.
Supports both elementary and middle school after- school programs.
Evaluates staff using Eduphoria once a year.
Ensures necessary materials, equipment and resources are available for program implementation.
Maintains communication among staff, students, parents and Kids' Involvement Network office.
Directs the organization of facilities and materials at program site.
Interfaces with school administration on issues related to after school discipline and academic needs.
Supervises and trains staff on positive discipline techniques using the District Positive Behavior Management Plan.
Communicates and interacts with parents concerning discipline related issues.
Disseminates information to staff.
Takes the initiative to further develop skills and knowledge.
Maintains confidentiality of information.
Reports to work on time every day.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
