Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team at North Adams-Jerome Elementary as a Kindergarten Teacher. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification for elementary education

Responsibilities

- Ability to effectively impart to students the necessary skills to read, write, speak and listen in the English Language.
- Possess a comprehensive knowledge of the Kindergarten State Content standards.
- Create a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, inclusion, and a love for learning
- Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, including tests, projects, and observations
- Provide timely feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance and behavior
- Collaborate with fellow educators, staff, and administration to enhance the educational experience and address student needs
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation
- Facilitate classroom discussions and activities that encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and methodologies
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities
