Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team at North Adams-Jerome Elementary as a Kindergarten Teacher. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality instruction aligned with Michigan Kindergarten Content Standards. Qualifications

  • Possess a comprehensive knowledge of the Kindergarten State Content standards.
  • Create a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, inclusion, and a love for learning
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, including tests, projects, and observations
  • Provide timely feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance and behavior
  • Collaborate with fellow educators, staff, and administration to enhance the educational experience and address student needs
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation
  • Facilitate classroom discussions and activities that encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and methodologies
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities
