The Ashburnham-Westminster Regional School District is seeking a dedicated, student-centered Kindergarten Teacher for Meetinghouse School for the 2026-2027 school year. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging instruction aligned with district curriculum and Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that promotes student learning and growth Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that meet the academic, social, and developmental needs of kindergarten students Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning styles, abilities, and needs Use a variety of instructional strategies, hands-on learning opportunities, and educational technology to enhance student engagement Establish clear expectations for student behavior and foster a positive classroom culture Assess student progress regularly and maintain accurate records of student performance Communicate effectively with families regarding student progress, growth, and classroom expectations Collaborate with specialists, support staff, and colleagues to support student success Participate in team meetings, professional development, curriculum development, and school initiatives Maintain professional responsibilities in accordance with district policies and state requirements Perform other duties as assigned
