The K teaching assistant works under the direction of the lead teacher to create a safe, clean, and caring environment for young children. This role helps children build social, emotional, and early academic skills.
Help implement lesson plans, set up materials, and lead small group activities
Keep children safe during class, outdoor play, field trips, and nap times
Assist with snacks, meals, bathroom breaks, and diapering when needed
Encourage positive interactions, sharing, and problem-solving among student
Observe children and share notes on their development with the lead teacher
