This includes supervising technicians, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, managing workflow, and supporting the successful and timely completion of aircraft maintenance projects.This role combines technical expertise with leadership responsibility to deliver safe, compliant, and high-quality results.A Day in the LifeYour day may begin by reviewing current work scopes, staffing needs, and project timelines. You will coordinate technician assignments, ensure proper use of technical data, and support troubleshooting efforts on King Air aircraft.Throughout the day, you will monitor progress, ensure quality standards are met, and provide guidance to technicians. You may step in hands-on when needed, while also communicating with leadership and other departments to keep projects on track.Essential Job FunctionsSupervise and coordinate maintenance, inspection, and repair activities on King Air and turboprop aircraftAssign work, monitor productivity, and ensure projects are completed on time and within scopeProvide technical guidance and support to technicians on troubleshooting and repairsEnsure all work is performed in compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company proceduresReview and verify maintenance documentation for accuracy and completenessSupport and mentor technicians, promoting skill development and quality workmanshipCoordinate with leadership, planning, and other departments to optimize workflowMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentAssist with performance feedback and team developmentPerform hands-on maintenance tasks as neededQualifications & RequirementsEducation & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required8+ years of aircraft maintenance experience requiredPrior leadership or lead technician experience preferredStrong knowledge of FARs 43, 65, 91, 135, and 145Experience working on turboprop aircraft required; King Air experience strongly preferredLicenses:FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License requiredInspection Authorization (IA) preferredAbility to obtain and maintain AOA badgeMust obtain and retain Elliott Aviation Production Inspector designationSkills & Competencies:Strong leadership and team management skillsAdvanced troubleshooting and technical expertiseAbility to interpret complex technical data and regulatory requirementsStrong communication and decision-making abilitiesHigh attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to balance hands-on work with supervisory responsibilitiesCommitment to safety and compliancePhysical & Work EnvironmentLift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionallyExtended standing, bending, kneeling, and working in confined spacesExposure to aircraft maintenance environments including noise, temperature variation, and heightsAdditional RequirementsMaintain required toolingAbility to work various shifts and overtime as neededOccasional overnight or short-notice travelWhy Join ElliottAt Elliott Aviation, you are not just joining a company. The pay range provided is a good faith estimate representative of experience levels.
