Kit Assembler

1st Shift Kit Assembler (Temp-to-Hire) – Shelton, CT
Pay: $18/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday (9-hour shifts), Friday (4-hour shift – early finish)

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kit Assembler to support our manufacturing team by preparing accurate kits of parts and materials for production. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within a stable, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret work orders, pick lists, and production schedules
• Pull and organize components from inventory for specific jobs
• Verify part numbers and quantities to ensure accuracy
• Package, label, and stage kits for the production floor
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Report inventory discrepancies or shortages
• Assist with cycle counts and stock rotation
• Follow all safety and quality procedures

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous manufacturing or warehouse/kitting experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer or scanner skills a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of the shift
• Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team
