Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Food service experience is helpful but not required

Experience Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience in a kitchen, cafeteria, restaurant, or food service setting is preferred
• Able to work well with others

• Follows directions and safety rules

Physical Capabilities

• Able to stand and walk for long periods
• Able to bend, reach, and carry supplies throughout the day
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to work in a busy kitchen environment

Job Duties

• Keep the kitchen, dining area, and storage areas clean and organized
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, trays, and kitchen tools
• Help prepare and serve food
• Put away food and supply deliveries
• Label and store food correctly
• Take out trash and help keep work areas clean
• Restock soap, towels, dishes, and other supplies
• Sweep, mop, and clean floors
• Check food temperatures and follow food safety rules
• Follow all cleaning, safety, and sanitation procedures
• Work with team members to provide great service

What You Will Do

As a Kitchen Aide and Dishwasher you will clean and maintain assigned work areas by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, emptying waste containers, restocking supplies, and performing routine facility upkeep.
