Are you eager to make a difference in the health and nutrition of young children? As the Food Service Assistant at Primrose School of Bedminster, you’ll help to prepare delicious, nutritious food that helps fuel children as they explore, play and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Nurture a child’s first five years by: 

•  Encouraging healthy eating habits through delicious and nutritious foods
• Maintaining a keen awareness of children who have allergies and food restrictions
• Following the daily menu prepared in collaboration with or by the School Management Team
• Assisting with ordering food and calculating the amount needed

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation and kitchen management is a plus, but not required
• Being able to multi-task and prioritize the needs of the kitchen and overall school
• Organization is key!
• Willing to learn kitchen tasks and take guidance from Kitchen Manager and School Management Team
• Ability to be a team player and assist where needed
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and food production

 Salary Range: $16.50 - $17.50/hour
 
Shift Schedule:  Full Time, Monday - Friday, approximately 40 hours / week
