About the Role

As a Kitchen Cleaner, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment that meets all health and safety regulations. Typical duties include:

● Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen surfaces, appliances, sinks, walls, floors, and fixtures

● Sweeping and mopping using appropriate cleaning products

● Washing kitchen mats and helping with trash, recycling, and food waste removal

● Monitoring cleaning supply levels and restocking as needed

● Reporting maintenance issues or hazards to management

● Following all food safety and sanitation standards

● Assisting with dishwashing or general cleaning tasks as needed

Qualifications

● Able to stand and walk for extended periods (7–12 hours depending on shift length)

● Able to lift 35 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally

● Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hot, and humid environment

● Prior kitchen or janitorial experience is a plus, but not required
