Core Responsibilities
- Meal Preparation: Preparing, cooking, and serving a variety of meals, often including short-order items like burgers, sandwiches, fry-items, and steaks for weekly steak nights.
- Fundraising Support: Cooking for specific events such as fish fries, steak nights, and breakfasts to support veterans and community programs.
- Kitchen Sanitation: Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, including cleaning surfaces, sanitizing equipment, and following health regulations.
- Inventory & Stocking: Organizing food storage, checking inventory levels, and potentially assisting in ordering food and supplies.
- Safety Compliance: Following HACCP guidelines for food safety, including monitoring food temperatures.
