About the Role:
Social Oak Wine and Whiskey Lounge is looking for a passionate and skilled Kitchen Cook to join our team in Trophy Club, TX! This is your chance to bring your culinary talents to a dynamic restaurant environment where great food and great people come together. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage to minimize waste
• Follow all food safety and handling guidelines in compliance with health regulations
• Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a line cook, prep cook, or in a similar kitchen role preferred
• Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Food Handler's Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
