Kitchen Helper

About the Role:
NIKU RANCH is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team in Oak Park, CA! Responsibilities:

• Assist kitchen staff with food prep tasks including chopping, portioning, and organizing ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen workstations, equipment, and utensils
• Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and cooking tools in a timely manner
• Receive, store, and rotate food deliveries following proper food safety protocols
• Support line cooks and chefs during service to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Take out trash, sweep, and mop kitchen floors to uphold health and safety standards
• Restock supplies and ensure prep stations are fully stocked before and during service

Requirements:

• No prior experience required — a positive attitude and willingness to learn are a must
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
• Strong work ethic with a team-first mentality
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
