Kitchen Production Helpers
**Location: **San Juan, McAllen & Edinburg, TX
Pay:$10.50 per hour
Schedule:Monday–Saturday 5 AM- 6PM (depending on workload); must be available Sundays as needed
About the Role:
Express Pros is hiringKitchen Helpersfor a local Mexican restaurant! You will assist with food preparation, cooking meat, packaging, verifying temperatures, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean kitchen.
Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect raw meat from approved suppliers; verify temperature, quality, and documentation.
Thaw meat under refrigeration and prepare for processing.
Trim, cut, and cook meat to required internal temperatures.
Shred cooked meat and mix with prepared sauces or seasonings.
Cool and store meat mixture safely for assembly.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP procedures throughout the process.
Requirements:
Kitchen or food service experience preferred, but not required
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
