POSITION SUMMARY:
To support the work of the kitchen design team by helping to generate purchase orders, communicate/coordinate with vendors/customers, quote materials, coordinate counter installs, schedule meetings, collect payments, invoice orders, showroom coverage.

Customer Service (CS)
Attain and maintain the highest level of customer service right stuff, right place, and right time, correctly billedAssist designers and customers with all phases of kitchen salesEnsure compliance with Hancock Lumber Companys CS expectations and processes.Address CS issues promptly and completely.Comply with stated sales transaction processes and procedures (credits, refunds, etc.)Generate monthly showroom schedule to ensure proper coverage
Kitchen Support
Seller related order placement support.Place special orders and follow up to ensure accuracy and timeliness of order delivery. Advises Sellers of any issues affecting commitment to the customer.Scheduling deliveries and installationsDevelops and maintains positive relationships with vendors; stays current on vendor product and pricing changes Set up jobs in BisTrackCheck acknowledgements and enter into BisTrackCheck quotesProcess Co-op claimsCreate POsSet up Directs in POS
Product Knowledge
Maintain knowledge of all product lines, pricing changes and lead times for order delivery.Able to provide assistance to customers related to product lines in the absence of Kitchen Designers if they are already serving another customer.Work with GM on product lines.
Technology
Proficiency in the use of company computer applications.
Security and Asset Protection/Utilization
Ensure current pricing and codes on all products and protection of company assets.
Facilitate educational opportunities with staffPolicy Adherence
Follow all policies as outlined in the Policy Manual
DESIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma. Post-secondary education preferredExperience in sales or service in the Kitchen and Bath industry preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Able to process orders, make decisions and problem solve in a fast paced, changing work environment.Proficiency in Microsoft applications as well as related Hancock computer software and applicationsAbility to communicate with customers, and employees, using verbal and written skills.Ability to do basic arithmetic, read orders, follows instructions and complete forms.Ability to perform Company computer applications.Ability to communicate with customers, and employees using verbal and written skills.Knowledge of safe work procedures.
REPETITIVE PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
