    SUMMARY OF ROLE:
    The main role of our Kitchen Install Apprentice position is to assist the lead installer with kitchen installs.  This includes setting up and taking down tools, prepping job sites, assisting with demo work, and assisting with cabinet, countertop, tile, flooring, and other installs.  This position does not require experience as we are willing to train the right person in all of the above skills.  We work hard but we always have a great time on the job.  We have been told by all of our employees that we are not the usual construction-type job.  We all get along great and work together to achieve our end goal.  You will see this immediately when you meet us!
     
    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES, including but not limited to:
    1. Work independently or as a team to provide service as laid out in the scope of work by assisting Lead Installers.
    2. Set up and put away tools, cords, and materials daily on each work site.
    3. Clean up all areas affected by the installation and ensure all debris is loaded into a dump truck or waste collection unit.
    4. Secure and lock up tools, equipment, and site at the end of the workday.
    5. Complete and assist the lead installer in basic tasks such as demo and kitchen installation.
    6. Secure all equipment and tools in their proper place and organized according to lead installer's instructions and keep all storage areas and shop clean and orderly.
    7. Anticipate task problems and inform the Installer of any issues with completing the task.   
    8. Sustains a work environment that builds positive professional relationships and demonstrates excellent customer service. Consistently demonstrates a commitment to the complete scope of work.  
    9. Prepare and correctly complete any work documents, timesheets and correctly code tags to correct job. 
     
    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES 
    • Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
    • Must be detail-oriented, able to plan, prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • High School degree or equivalent
    • Valid driver's license
    • Able to lift & carry items up to 75 lbs.
    • Frequently move the whole body to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, carrying, pushing, and kneeling.
    Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
