Kitchen Lead Trainee
What You’ll Do
As a Kitchen Team Trainee, you’ll help drive daily kitchen operations and team success by:
- Delivering crave‑able, high‑quality food with speed and accuracy while following Chick‑fil‑A standards
- Upholding food quality, cleanliness, and food‑safety expectations
- Coaching and developing Kitchen Team Members and Team Leaders
- Leading with urgency to ensure fast, consistent service
- Maintaining recipe accuracy, production consistency, and attention to detail
- Keeping a clean, organized, food‑safe kitchen environment
- Executing systems that support efficiency, safety, and operational excellence
Leadership Responsibilities
As a Restaurant Team Trainee, you will:
- Lead daily operations with professionalism and accountability
- Ensure guests consistently receive exceptional service
- Take ownership of food quality, food safety, and operational standards
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Clearly communicate kitchen goals and expectations
- Use hands‑on leadership and problem‑solving to drive improvement
- Inspire, coach, and connect with a diverse team
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Skills
- 2–5 years of leadership experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting
- Proven ability to develop and lead high‑performing teams
- Strong operational awareness and results‑driven mindset
- Excellent communication, coaching, and problem‑solving skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Comfortable using basic technology (POS systems, Microsoft Office)

Schedule
- Up to 40 hours per week in a hands‑on restaurant environment
