The kitchen employee works under the Kitchen Supervisor and management, responsible for accurately preparing guest orders and maintaining high-quality kitchen products. They must adapt to varying speeds and environments, ensuring efficiency and positive relations.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare orders promptly and accurately;
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, utensils, and equipment;
- Stock the kitchen line with necessary inventory;
- Pre-prep items as needed;
- Follow recipes and standards.
Requirements:
- Restaurant experience preferred;
- Ability to read and follow recipes;
- Reliable transportation;
- Knowledge of proper food handling;
- Teamwork skills.
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:
- Self-motivated;
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills;
- Ability to stand for up to 5 hours and lift up to 25 pounds;
- Capable of bending, stooping, and walking at a moderate pace.
