Caf OLIVIA is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead operations across our growing restaurant group. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified leader with multi-location experience to make a significant impact as we expand our presence throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
About the Role
You will oversee kitchen operations at our Downtown Dallas and Addison locations under the direction of the Executive Chef. Additionally, you'll work closely with our Executive Chef to support the launch and setup of our new Plano location. Your leadership will ensure consistent quality, efficiency, and a positive team environment across all sites.
Key Responsibilities- Provide hands-on kitchen leadership at both the Downtown and Addison locations.
- Report to the Executive Chef and help ensure consistency in food quality, plating, and execution across both sites.
- Support inventory, ordering, and vendor coordination, alongside operations.
- Assist with training and supervising kitchen staff at each location.
- Enforce food safety and sanitation standards across both locations, monitoring sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a safe, clean working environment.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on Menu execution and support the Plano location roll out.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu implementation and kitchen procedures for new and existing locations
- Control food costs and manage inventory efficiently
- Ensure smooth communication and coordination between kitchen teams at different locations
- Support the development and launch of the Plano location kitchen operations
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of kitchen management or executive sous chef experience, ideally multi-location.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Enforce food safety regulations and kitchen sanitation standards.
- Comfortable working across sites multiple sites.
- Assist with training and staff supervision at each location.
- Experience with inventory management, food costing, and labor management.
- Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Current Food Manager Certification and Food Safety Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
- Passion for creating exceptional food and supporting a strong team culture.
