Job description:

Our commitment to excellence means we need a talent rich environment and we are looking for a dynamic and strategic Heart of House Kitchen Manager to join our team and lead our Heart of House Operations.

Pay and benefit rate begins at $20 per hour and is negotiable based on experience.

The Kitchen Manager is responsible for:

  • Always delivering crave-able food, in a timely manner, that meets or exceeds Chick-fil-A Quality Requirements
  • Coaching the behaviors of all Team Members who work in the Heart of House

Those behaviors include:

  • Sense of Urgency that creates surprisingly fast Speed of Service while serving the Highest Quality Meals
  • Attention to detail that ensures preparation and production procedures are followed at all times
  • Execution of systems that ensure a refreshingly clean environment
  • Maintaining a work environment that ensures and promotes food safety
  • Vigilant attention to the organization and appearance of the kitchen

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a LEAN production environment
  • Coaching, evaluating, and providing accountability for all kitchen Team Members
  • Troubleshooting and repairing equipment and facilities
  • Ensure all necessary preventative maintenance and cleaning on a per set schedule.

  • Effectively coach and give direction

  • Be able to connect with a multicultural team
  • Align hiring, training, daily practices and evaluation practices with the Vision of the organization and the Thematic Goal for the year
  • Enthusiastically and passionately lead the Kitchen team

As a Heart of House Kitchen Manager you will:

  • Demonstrate a passion for our brand and restaurant and for managing the overall operations
  • Find, train, develop and recognize the best people
  • Lead daily activities to ensure guests receive excellent customer service
  • Demonstrate a strong awareness and concern for food quality and safety
  • Adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities

Availability required:

  • Monday through Saturday availability is required
  • Opening and closing shifts are required (6am opening shift start and 10pm closing shift).
  • Certain Holidays and special events are required
