Kitchen Manager:

Position Summary

As a Kitchen Manager you will report to the General Manager. You will be responsible for effectively managing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen. As the Kitchen Manager you will be responsible for maintaining a customer oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement and high performance.

Essential Job Functions
  • Develop and maintain an effective internal and external communication system
  • Organize and Chair Kitchen Meetings
  • Act as Liaison to outside guest and agents
  • Maintain inventory control
  • Maintain cost control
  • Oversee recruitment and staffing
  • Conduct Employee Orientations and Development Trainings
  • Develop and maintain an Employee Assessment System
  • Develop and maintain all policies and procedures
  • Develop and maintain a Maintenance Control System
  • Develop and maintain an effective Health and Safety System
  • Ensure compliance with Federal, State and County regulations

Marginal Job Functions
  • Menu Development
  • Required to cook on line when needed
  • Manage all security issues
  • Oversee all purchasing

Education
  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience
  • 1 - 3 years experience preferred
