Kitchen Manager - Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show
Overview
We are seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen operation. This is not a traditional chef role-our kitchen focuses on high-volume food preparation, portioning, and execution to serve a 940-seat arena.
This position is ideal for a strong leader who excels in organization, team management, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, hire, train, and supervise kitchen staff (20-35 employees)
- Manage food preparation, portioning, and timely execution of meals
- Ensure accuracy in food counts and efficient oven-based preparation
- Maintain food quality, safety, and sanitation standards
- Oversee kitchen operations during high-volume service
- Manage inventory, waste, and cost controls
- Handle scheduling needs
- Coordinate with other departments to support show operations
Qualifications
- 2-3+ years of leadership experience in food service, production, or similar environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
- Experience with inventory or food production processes preferred
- ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days)

- High-volume, production-style kitchen
- Standing/walking for extended periods
- Lifting up to 50 lbs
