Key Responsibilities:

• Open and close the building, ensuring the kitchen is ready for full operation.
• Schedule and manage kitchen staff shifts, including breaks, to meet guest demand.
• Teach and train staff on all kitchen operations and procedures.
• Maintain a fully stocked kitchen and oversee inventory and waste control.
• Lead the team to maintain an operational pace that matches our customer service commitments.
• Set and monitor performance, hygiene, and grooming standards for all kitchen staff.
• Ensure the kitchen is 100% ready for health inspections with no violations (e.g., proper food storage).
• Foster a clean kitchen culture and teach best hygiene practices.
• Keep staff motivated, positive, and accountable through coaching and disciplinary procedures.
• Track and report fluctuations in food costs and dish pricing.
• Review guest comments to enhance customer satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience managing a kitchen in a social lounge, bar, or high-volume restaurant.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency.
• Experience with cost control, inventory, and staff training.
