*Kitchen Manager * Responsibilities Include:
- LEADERSHIP: Leading and mentoring your team to create an awesome work environment
- QUALITY + SAFETY: Ensuring food quality, clean and sanitary work spaces, team and guest safety, and adherence to COVID-19 protocols
- CUSTOMER SERVICE: Ensuring high quality, welcoming, and efficient service for our guests
- TEAM MANAGEMENT: Leading and supervising Assistant Team leaders, Captains, Kitchen Managers, and Team Members with order taking, cooking and food prep.
- SHIFT LEADERSHIP: Independently leading shifts
- OPENING/CLOSING/OPERATIONS: Ensure proper opening, closing, and daily operations
- FOOD PREP: Supporting Captains and Kitchen Managers in oversight of daily food prep
- WEEKLY MAINTENANCE: Supporting Captains and Kitchen Managers in oversight of weekly cleaning and maintenance procedures
- FINANCIAL ACUMEN: Responsible for hitting COGS, labor and profitability targets.
- TRAINING: Training of Team Members in station procedures, as needed
- Other responsibilities as necessary
- REPORT TO: Director of Operations
Job Qualifications:
- Positive, professional, dependable, and friendly -- with demonstrated leadership ability
- Exceptional skill with each kitchen station
- Top-notch problem solving ability
- Unmatched reliability
- Great communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work all shifts
- Able to be on your feet throughout shift and lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Previous hospitality and/or food service experience a plus but not required (all training provided)
- Enthusiasm for working with the team to create a safe, clean, fun and rewarding workplace at all times
