Kitchen Supervisor Roles & Responsibilities:- You should be able to delegate tasks to kitchen staff to ensure meals are prepared in a timely manner. Also, you should be familiar with sanitation regulations. Has the ability to train, develop, and create a culture for success.Job Requirements and Areas of Responsibility:- Overall responsibility for the kitchen’s daily operations.- Liaising with the contracted companies for food orders.- Interviewing and hiring new kitchen staff.- Maintaining /raising the food’s profit margins.- Controlling the BOH labor cost.- Monitoring and controlling stock levels.- Ensuring correct stock rotation procedures are followed.- Implementation of health and safety procedures in the kitchen.- Monthly pricing audits using your invoices.- Completing weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly inventory.- Completing the business system to organize the restaurants financials.- Completing the purchase log report- Completing inventory sheet, Maintaining the menu cost analysis, updating pricing quarterly.- Creating the kitchen schedule using forecasted sales projections.- Maintaining food quality and plate presentation standardsQualifications:
- High school diploma/GED
- Previous food service experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, restaurant management software, and POS software
- Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
- Excellent management and leadership skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
