We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to join an established, high-volume restaurant that has been serving the South Bay community for over 10 years. This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership role and help bring structure, organization, and growth to an already successful operation.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who is passionate about food, team development, and creating systems that support consistency and excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day back-of-house operations
  • Lead, coach, and develop kitchen staff
  • Manage inventory and ordering
  • Monitor food quality and consistency
  • Control food costs and minimize waste
  • Maintain health department and safety standards
  • Create and implement kitchen systems and procedures
  • Collaborate with ownership and front-of-house leadership
  • Assist with scheduling and labor management

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of kitchen leadership experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience with ordering, inventory, and food cost controls
  • Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and team-first mentality
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
