    Job Title: Kitchen Packaging Technician LeadSchedule: Full-Time, Evening shift, Monday - FridayAbout JARS Cannabis:JARS Cannabis is committed to providing top-quality cannabis products in a safe and compliant environment. We're seeking a Kitchen Packaging Technician Lead to join our team and help maintain our high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.Role Overview:The Kitchen Packaging Technician Lead oversees all evening packaging operations, ensuring products are packaged accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) regulations and Title 9, Chapter 18 (Arizona Administrative Code for marijuana facilities). Leads the packaging team to meet daily production goals while maintaining strict regulatory adherence.Key Responsibilities:Packaging & Production: Package products accurately, ensuring they meet weight, seal, and label requirements. Operate and troubleshoot packaging equipment.Labeling & Compliance: Ensure all products are packaged and labeled per ADHS requirements, including THC content, batch/lot numbers, universal symbol, government warning statements, and child-resistant packaging standards. Ensure compliance with state regulations.Inventory & Workflow Management: Manage packaging materials, monitor stock levels, and ensure smooth workflow through production stages. Maintain accurate records in Dutchie seed-to-sale tracking system for all packaged inventorySanitation & Safety: Maintain a clean and sanitary environment, following health and safety protocols. Comply with cannabis packaging regulations.Teamwork & Company Values: Collaborate with team members and support a positive work culture focused on quality and efficiency.Qualifications:Experience: 1-2 years experience in cannabis packaging, manufacturing, or food production. Prior leadership or supervisory perferred.Knowledge: Familiarity with food safety protocols and cannabis compliance is a plus.Certifications: Valid Food Handler's Safety Card. Authorized to hold a Facility Agent Card with the Arizona Department of Health Services.Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic mechanical skills, and ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.Physical Requirements: Ability to stand or sit for up to 10 hours and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
